A Watchman's Prayer for Leaders
We make supplications, prayers, intercession, and give thanks for all men, for our pastors, our spiritual leaders, our social leaders, our first responders, and our political leaders.
We decree and declare an influx of Godly leaders that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
We decree and declare that the Word of God has free course and that the Word of God be glorified (2 Tim.2:1-4).
We declare that our leaders are delivered from unreasonable and wicked men (2 Thess.3:11-3).
We decree and declare that our leaders operate in the spirit of wisdom, spirit of understanding, the spirit of counsel and might.
That the eyes of their understanding be flooded with the light of your Word (Ephe. 1:18).
We decree and declare that our leaders commit their works to the Lord, so that their thoughts are established (Prov. 16:2-3).
Open the heavens, Lord, and come down.
Touch the mountains of religion, and government, so they billow smoke.
Hurl your lightning bolts and scatter your enemies!
Shoot your arrows and confuse them!
Reach down from heaven and rescue your leaders.
Rescue them from deep waters.
Rescue them from the deep waters of corruption.
Rescue them from the deep waters of racism.
Rescue them from the deep waters of injustice.
Rescue them from the deep waters of greed, and lust.
Father, rescue them from the deep waters of perversion (Ps.144:5-8).
We cry out for the God of Israel to awake, awake, put on strength and might.
O arm of the Lord; awake, as in the ancient days, as in the generations of long ago (Isaiah 51:9).
May the Lord awakened as from sleep, as a strong man whose consciousness is heightened by wine, and smite their adversaries in the back as they flee and put them to lasting shame and reproach (Ps.78:65-66).
We prophesy to our religious, social and political leaders to AWAKE and put on your strength;
We prophesy to our religious, social and political leaders to AWAKE and put on your beautiful garments (Rev. 21:27).
We prophesy to our religious, social, and political leaders to SHAKE themselves from the dust, and arise and sit erect in a dignified place. (Isaiah 52:1-3)
May the Lord guard and defend our religious, social, and political leaders.
May those that are weak and feeble become strong (Zechariah 12:8).
May the Lord grant our leaders victory in every battle, peace in every storm, and a greater weight of glory for every trial, in Jesus name.
